Northampton Borough Council will be installing the Bird and Bat boxes that are made during the day.
Also on the day the local Wildlife Trust will be conducting bug hunts and the Peoples Trust for Endangered Species will be involved with the stag beetle homes and the hedgehog food making.
Other groups and societies will also be involved on the day, please refer back to the web site for further details.
It is hoped that this event will lead to more in the future. In the pipeline are; wildlife and wildflower walks, Moth watch nights, Bug hunts, a Bird school, wildlife photography, herbal workshops, wildflower meadow planting & ladybird surveys.
This event will hopefully highlight the varied flauna & fauna we have on our doorstep and the various habitats Delapre Park has to offer.
