Firstly, thank you to all the members who turned up at St Mary's Church Hall in Far Cotton.
The main business of the evening was for the members to decide on the immediate future of the charity. The motion put to the members was to vote in principle on changing our organisation to a charity company limited by guarantee.
Out of the hundred members present 89 voted in favour.
It is now the intention of the committee to put together a new prospective constitution and send it out to all of our members. Later in the year there will be another general meeting when hopefully the new constitution will be accepted.
The committee are working hard on the members behalf to secure the future of the charity and we do so with the full support of Northampton Borough Council.
