As you may be aware, over the past six months your committee has been working very hard negotiating with Northampton Borough Council to secure a new five year lease. One of the essential requirements in order for lease to be granted is for us to adopt a new governing document (constitution). With the guidance of our solicitors and the Council, we have drafted a new constitution (please use download button below). Those members who would prefer a paper copy of the draft constitution can obtain one by contacting the FoDA office or by visiting the tea room where copies will be available. We would very much welcome members' comments about the document. Your comments can be submitted by e-mail, post or by word of mouth if you would prefer and must be received by 5pm on 30th June.  We will be contacting our members very shortly with details of a Special General Meeting concerning the new constitution and the change of status of the Charity from its present form to a Charity Company Limited by Guarantee.
