Today saw the visit of a group of walkers undertaking a new route following the original 225 mile route of the funeral cortege of Queen Eleanor, Queen Consort of King Edward 1, and visiting the commemorative crosses (or their sites) erected in her honour between Lincoln and London.
The walk is raising funds for the work of the Connection at St Martin's, which provides wide ranging day and night services for homeless people, and for the current Renewal of St Martin's Church restoring and modernising its buildings and facilities.
